I have finished filming the intro to my legomation (as of yet, untitled). Now the rough road of editing. You see, with legomation (stop-action filming with legos) filming is the shortest time spent, takes maybe 10 to 30 minutes at max, more like 10 at max. The editing takes a few hours, and depending on the format I put it in (flash or .gif), even longer. But I MIGHT explain that later. Right now I need to start the editing and create the webpage for the finished product. Orginally I was just going to start right off with duplicating the comic Penny-Arcade, but then I decided I needed an intro for it. That's what's filmed.
Well, I still have college butting in the way, so hopefully I'll have the intro finished by the end of the week, ug, work the next three days...... I really need a laptop.
Bed time.

OH MY WORD, OSU IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOL.
Alright, check this out, so I was at OSU visiting Erica and Wes, right, and so I was in their dorms, and get this, their dorms have BATHROOMS, but that's not all, they also, in the bathrooms, have ROWS OF SINKS, and, that's right, AND the last sink in the row is a SPECIAL SINK, and by special sink, I mean it's similiar to a hair cutting place's sink for shampoo'ing your hair before they cut your hair, but yeah, so it had this hose thingy that you pull out, then you hit the little button like thingy to make water come out of it, plus you can control the tempature with the two knobs because one's for hot water and one's for cold water, so I totally washed my hair in the sink, because I mean, I had to, it's a SPECIAL SINK, and it was totally cool, because I washed my hair WITHOUT taking a shower or bath, and it didn't take any time at all, plus this is a really long sentence because I'm just now putting in the period.
I think I have to go to OSU now, just so I can wash my hair without taking showers or baths.
Legos, yep, didn't get to filming today, because I realized, hey, I need a house and stuff to do the filming in. Thus, I created some walls and painted them, they are now drying. Tommorrow I'll lightly spray them with gold spray paint (they are drying with white paint right now), and I think this will give a nice background color to do the filming with. I need to setup the site where the legomation will be too. Oh well.
I'm going to bed because I have this annoyance called college that I have to go to in the morning.

Well, the legos are coming along nicely. Tycho is completely painted, and I'm finally happy with his hair. Gabe's hair, on the other hand, I was completely disgusted with. His hair was Harry Potter's, it just didn't look right. Then I had an epiphany, so I created his hair, now I just have to paint it black. Filming should start by Sunday.
I'm going to OSU today, visiting my friend Wes and Erica, and I guess whoever else might be up there right now. Should be fun. Any who, shower and then leaving.

Well I'm painting legos. I went out and bought model paint. That's right, I actually spent money on this legomation project, that tells you how serious and excitied I am about it. I've got the figures of Gabe and Tycho all picked out, right now I just got to paint them as they appear in the strips. Hopefully I'll mostly be done with painting by tommorrow. Then need to build a basic set and a few props, some permant, some temp....
Ok, heading to Adam's soon to do the painting, hopefully I'll get on those pictures soon.

I'm excitied, and kinda happy. What about?? Legos. That's right, I'm starting my slow recovery back into legomation. I've got 5, that's right FIVE, legomation shorts planned out. Just have to prepare the legos, background, and props and then film 'em. They are all based directly off of Penny-Arcade's comics. Once they are made, though, I won't be showing them to the public until I've e-mailed PA and hopefully get their premission to reproduce the comics in this manner, I mean, technically it is creative license, however, I feel it's much better this way and have way too much respect towards them to just do it without their premission. See, I'm waiting until I have a few made so that they can look at them.
Ok, got a test at 10am, so going to finish reading chapters, then go to bed.

Well, my web host, PowWeb sent me an e-mail telling me that they are moving to a better service, one that has 9 backbones compared to their current 3. They are moving their servers on Sunday to a building that is 3 miles away, so a down time of 2-3 hours will occur. They say now there will be 100% uptime and faster connection, so that's a big bonus. I don't know if I made it clear last post, or if I had fully decided, but with this additional information, I'm definatly going to keep posting and updating.
Something cool as well, my Chiro asked me if I knew about webpages, which I happen to, and now he's interested in me creating a website for him. This wouldn't be very difficult at all, a buisness website is easier to create then a person one in the majority of cases.
I have right infront of me one of the documents that I wrote like way back in May or something. I have the webpages infront of me to edit it into existance on my site as well. Hopefully this means I'll put it up, since all I have to do is type, but that's all I've had to do for 4 months now.
Going to work on that, and maybe one or two other things.

September 12th. That's today. Today is the 12th day of September. What does this mean? Well, to me, it means that 20 years ago at about 8pm Pacific Coast Time, I was birthed into this world. That's right, today is my birthday, and I turn 20. Birthday's are nice things, aren't they. They act as a sign, look, I've managed to live another whole year on this planet. They're like mile markers, something to look back on, to measure when things happened in your life. To a foolish many, it's a symbol of experience. Birthdays are cool, I mean you usually get presents, which is always nice, and a cake and sometimes a party. I enjoy my birthday, but not like I used to when I was a kid. Now it's like, oh yeah, another year older...., back then it was, OH MY WORD, YEPPIE (jumping off the walls at this point), IT'S MY BIRTHDAY, PRESENTS, CAKE, SUGAR, PARTY, YEPPIE!!!
Ok, enough about that. Well, as I stated in my previous news post, not that many people even read this site. It took until the 10th, 3 days later, for someone to even commit on the post. This person was JT, my cohort in the creation of this site. He's on dial-up right now and a sucky computer, so he doesn't get a chance to get on-line very often, another reason why he hasn't posted anything on the site in a long time. Thanks for e-mailing JT. Well, I'll prolly keep my computer, mainly b/c I'm planning on buying a new printer, one of HP's new 7000 series printers. Very nice ones too. Going to get the 7350 most likely. Technically I could do my photo printing without a computer, but I'm going to keep mine so I can edit the photos, make colleges and what-not. I think I'll even make a drive to start doing some legomation, I've got to start doing something I enjoy or I'm going to go crazy.
I want to try and either type up some of the documents I wrote forever ago or do some pictures, but I work at 4 and have chiro at 3, so we shall see.

A few things first. One, I have another one of those things coming up..... how do you say.... ah yes, birthday. The 12 day in the month of September is when I turn 20. The problem with this is, I have to figure out what I want for this thing called birthday. I do have something now that I can ask far, which brings me to the main reason I'm typing this.
Monitors for computers, they're nice things. They usually let you see what your pounding on the keyboard and mouse movements do. Well, suprisingly my monitor does this as well. However, as of last night it decided to be a little different. When I moved my computer to another room, I connect it all together and then started my computer. At this point I noticed that my monitor had an interesting color. It reminded me of some levels on Mario Brothers (that's right, the original). Once it started up, we realized that an entire color spectrem was messing, the green. I took out the D-sub 15 pim connector (the end of the cord of your monitor that connects to the video card on the back of your computer) and tooked. I noticed that there was only 14 pins, not the 15 it used to have. So I now view everything on my computer with the absence of any green coloration whatsoever. Actually, this isn't as bad for me as it would be for others, since i'm colorblind, mainly red-green, which means the red sorta substutes minimaly for me, but not really.
This has made me think again on the topic of computers and my like for them and my reason for having one. I don't really like computers very much at all. I bought my first computer when I was 16. Why you ask? Well it had to be to play the latest games, for the purpose of internet eploration . . . no, none of these. I'd always played computer games on the family computer, and enjoyed it somewhat, however, the reason I got a computer was really for my friends, maybe a little bit for me, but not too much. See, my friends played computer games, and to make it easier for us to play together, I bought a computer. I do play a few games from time to time, but not really that much. In fact, compared with my friends right now, I barely touch the computer at all. I find myself, more often then not, just sitting in front of the computer screen, expecting something more after that, well tough, that's what I do, SIT. I'll sometimes place my mouse at a spot on the desktop, left click and drag it to make those little selection boxes, and then swirl my mouse around to watch the box change shape, that's always fun.
What am I saying? I don't know. Maybe this monitor thing is a sign, a sign that says, get rid of the computer, you don't really like it that much any way. Prehaps that's it, who knows. But then, what about this website, how can I update it without a computer? I guess I couldn't, now could I. In the grand scheme of things I have to have a computer in order to survive in this current society, no, that's a bunch of garabage, I can go about my day to day life without a computer easy enough. I'll suffer from computer withdrawel, internet withdrawel, e-mail withdrawel. While it is true that the biggest thing I do on the computer is e-mail, that's mainly b/c I check it more than once in a day. And remember I SIT in front of my computer with the changing selection box, I don't think I'd suffer very badly.
So I'm going to think on this, I mean, there will always be a computer somewhere to use if I have to. When it comes down to it, I'm just not enjoying computers very much right now, I'm wondering if I ever did. And this site? Like I said a few news posts again, no one really seems to care. I'll keep it up, even if I become computerless, so that my friends can use it for whatever purposes they wish.
I'm going to go do stuff now. On a happy note (for others, maybe), I will not abandon my website until I have finished both the Italy pictures and the current work pictures that I have.

Ok, lots of stuff to say, hopefully I won't forget most of it while I'm typing this.
The Phantom of the Opera was awesome. The customes were amazing, the set was extremely well done, and the singing was great. I enjoyed it.
I've been lanning it up this weekend. It's been nice, only worked Friday night. You'd think I'd get more done on the website, which was my main plan, but that never seems to happen, except once or twice. I have, however, gotten some stuff done as far as organization is concerned, and soon it will be visible as well. I have so many pictures to go through that it is overwhelming, and this is why I'm taking forever, b/c I almost dread starting. I'm organizing it into smaller chuncks, and this should help me actually do the work. So HOPEFULLY in the next week I might have something up.
My back is killing me today for some reason, don't know why, it's been feeling so well lately, oh well.
Ok, making XP better, hacking it, making XP legally registered and getting the service pack 1 for it.
